Useful help for young people in NAV

Why knowledge from young people about NAV is needed

Young people who have received help from NAV know how it feels to be in the system. They have a lot of knowledge about what the help must look like to be useful and help them get out of NAV as soon as possible, and into the community. They know how the meeting with NAV can be safe, and explanations of why security is so important in order to get help for what is most important to address. They have advice on what characterizes good cooperation between young people and employees in NAV , and how information can be provided in a way that is useful, understandable and safe. Norway needs young people who can use their interests and strengths in the best possible way. Therefore, it is important that the advice the young people have is involved in developing practice in NAV.
